Christmas tree-Labyrinth
The tree maze in Santa Land is a little fairytale forest. Try out the Hansel and Gretel tactic if you can’t find your way out of the trees.
Star Flyer and Ferris wheel
Outside the Christmas market season the Scott Monument offers the undisputed best views of Edinburgh. Now there are two seasonal alternatives: At a height of 60m you can take a couple of powerful spins in Star Flyer or comfortably glide through the air on the Ferris wheel.
Tip: Visit on a weekday!
To avoid the rush and experience the Angels Christmas Market at a quieter pace you may wish to come along during the week and mornings.

Numerous children in ‘Santa Land’ also look forward to the new additions in the picturesque setting under the castle hill. ‘Edinburgh’s Christmas’ is a visitor magnet – for the 500,000 inhabitants of the city, for many other fans of the Scottish capital, and for numerous tourists from all over the world …

* Well-maintained, lovingly decorated and atmospherically lit log cabins (Cabin depth 2.00 m; front width 4, 6 and 8 m).
* Stands for rent (variable cabin size).
* Log huts and stands in the busy walkways of an open market area.
* A discount on the stand rental for artisans, and other discounts if continuous craft demonstrations are given.
We are looking for:
* Ambitious artisans and traders who would like to present themselves in an attractive sales atmosphere at a romantic Christmas Market.
* Gastronomers with regional delicacies or international specialities.
* Exhibitors with original offerings or concepts.
